Ingredients
1/2 lb - boneless pork loin , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 tsp - vegetable oil
1 cup - sliced carrots , thinly
8 oz - potatoes, fresh, medium , 1 cup diced
2 tbsp - Soup Dip & Recipe Mix, onion, dry , 1 envelope
2 tbsp - sugar
1 pinch - black pepper , to taste
4 cup - cold water
28 oz - canned, crushed tomatoes
1/4 tsp - ground oregano , crushed
1 pinch - hot pepper sauce

Directions
1. Heat oil in Dutch oven and brown pork, stirring occasionally.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and cover and cook gently for 30 to 45 minutes.
Additional Information
Cuts from the loin do not need to be stewed as long as the less-tender shoulder cuts, so this soup is ready in 30-45 minutes.

Directions
1. Use a large pot coated with nonstick cooking spray, and cook the Canadian bacon over medium heat until brown about 3 minutes.
2. Stir in the garlic, onion, carrot, zucchini, tomatoes, red wine, salt, pepper, oregano, beef broth, water, kidney beans, cabbage, and spinach. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and cook for 10 minutes
3. Add the macaroni and basil, and continue cooking for 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is done.

Directions
1. In a Dutch oven, cook celery, onion, and garlic in hot oil until tender, then add chicken broth. Bring to a boil, and then reduce heat and cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
2. Strain vegetables, reserving broth in pan, and then discard vegetables.
3. Stir together evaporated milk and flour in a medium bowl, and then stir into broth. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
4. Add the 2 cups of cheese and then cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
5. If desired, stir in white pepper, and 1/2 cup shredded cheese over individual servings, dividing evenly.
Additional Information
This soup, which uses reduced-fat cheese, is delicious and warms you up.

Directions

1 oz - dried cloud ear mushrooms (or 1/2 oz dried shitake mushrooms)

1 - olive oil cooking spray
1/2 cup - shredded carrots , julienned
29 floz - low sodium vegetable broth (2 cans)
2 tbsp - cooking sherry
1 1/2 tsp - tamari soy sauce
1/4 tsp - Chinese 5-spice powder
2 1/2 oz - snow peas
1 cup - fresh mushroom slices
1/4 cup - fresh chopped green onion
2 1/2 oz - Chow Mein Noodles, dry
1 pinch - salt
1 pinch - black pepper

Directions
1. Soak dried mushrooms in a bowl for 15 minutes, or until tender; strain and slice, cutting off any rough parts.
2. Heat a cooking spray coated pot over medium heat. Cook dried mushrooms and carrots 3 to 4 minutes.
3. Mix in broth, sherry, soy sauce, and five spice powder. Bring to a boil, lower heat, place lid on pot and simmer 10 minutes.
4. Mix in snow peas, sliced mushrooms, and green onions. Cook 4 minutes or until peas are tender.
5. Stir noodles into pot and cook 10 minutes or until noodles are al dente. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Additional Information
If chow mein noodles can not be found, use spaghetti noodles. Use any mushrooms or use a combination.
